My Freighter and American Airlines Announce Interline Freight Partnership

My Freighter Airlines and American Airlines have agreed to an interline partnership that will give both airlines access to each other’s cargo networks across North America, Europe and Central Asia.

The interline agreement, announced in a post on My Freighter Airlines’ LinkedIn account, has been in effect since August 1 and is intended to serve as a benchmark for cargo airlines around the world, demonstrating the possibilities that can be achieved through mutual cooperation.

My Freighter Airlines’ post states: “Through this interline traffic, My Freighter Airlines has access to 11 different destinations including New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), Dallas (DFW), Charlotte (CLT), Houston (IAH), Amsterdam (AMS), London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Madrid (MAD) and Munich (MUC). In return, My Freighter Airlines can offer American Airlines access to our Tashkent (TAS) hub and all of Central Asia via our RFS trucking network.”

The post continues: “We believe in creating a new ‘Silk Road’ connecting East and West through Central Asia. The partnership with American Airlines is the first step, as we can now seamlessly ship cargo from North America to destinations in Central Asia with a simple click of a mouse.”

“My Freighter Airlines operates a Boeing 767-300BCF to various destinations in Europe, including Liege (LGG), Ostrava (OSR), Budapest (BUD) and Leipzig (LEJ). American Airlines Cargo’s network will greatly benefit as they will be able to access a maximum payload of up to 52 net tons and 340 cubic meters on our aircraft.

“With a fleet of over seven 767-300BCFs and access to American Airlines’ 1,012 Airbus wide-body aircraft flying weekly from the US to Europe, we have a huge opportunity to open the doors for American Airlines to capture the Central Asian market and vice versa to capture the American market, which we are keen to capture as there is a large Central Asian community in the United States.”
