BeatKings last appearance at Birthday Bash ATL

Texas Hip Hop, legendary rapper and Houston Rap artist Beat King passed away tragically on Thursday, August 15th.

According to 97.9 The Box, a member of Beatking’s team confirmed that his death was due to medical reasons. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Texas Legends’ friends, family and fans.

Beatking’s influence was by far unmatched. There wasn’t a strip club in America you could walk into without hearing Beatking’s music. His songs lived on for many summers and were the party anthems you heard. Despite his short time in the spotlight, he had a lasting impact on the hip hop scene and left a lasting impression on his fans. Club Godzilla’s untimely passing was felt in every corner of the world, but his legacy lives on. While hip hop mourns his loss, we also celebrate the bright smiles, positive energy and great music that Beat King brought to every room.
