Taika Waititi celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday with his proud wife Rita Ora and numerous other celebrities at a star-studded party in Ibiza.
The Hollywood director has been married to pop star Rita, 33, since 2022 and the celebrity duo threw a lavish party to mark the occasion in a luxury villa on the Spanish island.
For the occasion, Taika chose a loose white shirt and black trousers, while Rita opted for a purple dress with ruffles and lots of eye-catching jewelry as accessories.
The couple posed for a snap together before proceeding with the ceremonies, where the Anywhere singer sang “Happy Birthday” to Taika.
He received a cake with the theme of the All Blacks national rugby union team from his home country New Zealand.

The glamorous event was also attended by several well-known personalities, all of whom seemed excited to be a part of this almost groundbreaking event.
At one point, Rita was seen having fun with 27-year-old Havana singer Camila Cabello while the two pop princesses posed on the dance floor.
Camila raised one arm in the air and stuck out her tongue as she showed off her perky butt in a cream-colored dress and let her blonde curls fall freely.

Last year, the “Ask & You Shall Receive” singer thanked the filmmaker for showing her “what love really is” in a passionate Instagram post honoring her husband of one year.
She wrote: “Happy birthday to the funniest and smartest man I have ever met in my life.”
“You hold me together in moments when I don’t think it’s possible. Thank you for showing me what love really is.”
The couple initially kept their wedding a secret from the public and only announced it last year.
Rita told ES Magazine that her friends were worried about missing her big day after she and Taika decided to only invite eight guests to their intimate ceremony.
She said: “I’ve been in the public eye for some time now and I’ve always given the public everything I’m involved in. It was a nice feeling to have something that was a secret for a while.”
“A lot of my friends said, ‘Oh my God, we missed this.’ I just told them we’d figure something out. It was very relaxed – because my life is not relaxed.”
