NetheRealm Studios has an exciting new Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Trailer introducing Cyrax’s story arc and showcasing the character’s amazing gameplay. Cyrax will be appearing in the highly anticipated Chaos reigns Expansion this September.
The Cyrax trailer begins with the warrior sent by Sub-Zero/Bi-Han along with Sektor to attack the Shirai Ryu at Kuai Liang’s wedding in Wu Shi. Cyrax finds the wedding attack dishonorable but obeys. Lin Kuei’s attack prompts Johnny Cage to deliver one of the trailer’s most memorable lines as he stands ready to defend Wu Shi along with Kung Lao. “Oh, hell no. We’re not doing the Red Wedding,” he says to Cyrax, referring to one of the most iconic game of Thrones Episodes. The two begin to fight and show Cyrax’s abilities.

In addition to Cyrax and Sektor, other popular characters will also be appearing in the upcoming Chaos reigns Expansion. The expansion’s announcement trailer introduced the beginning of a new story that focuses on a possible alternate dimension with a different version of Havik and other characters. Noob Saibot will appear as a corrupted shadow of Bi-Han in the second Mortal Kombat Season, which also includes legendary film characters such as the slasher Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian and T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Mortal Kombat 1 Creative Director Ed Boon recently announced on social media that Mortal Kombat1The creative team had recently met to decide which Kameo Fighters would appear in the highly anticipated expansion. Several characters were discussed, including Blanche, the old lady who was used as a weapon in Mortal Kombat 10′s Outworld Marketplace stage and Kidd Thunder, a young protégé summoned to help Raiden with his friendship finisher in Mortal Kombat 2.
The non-Mortal Kombat Among the characters from the franchise mentioned during the discussion was the popular Invincible, son of Mortal Kombat 1 DLC fighter Omni-Man and everyone’s favorite killer doll, Chucky.
