INTO ACT!ON 2024 will host a nonpartisan, multi-day event in Chicago that combines art, culture and elections

CHICAGO, 16 August 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Artists, community leaders and activists from across the United States come together for IN ACT!ON 2024a collaborative, non-partisan, multi-day event featuring over 200 curated artworks designed to encourage and inspire people to vote and actively participate in our democracy.

In addition to a visual exhibition featuring over 200 artworks, a collection of performances, DJ sets, and provocative conversations with notable cultural leaders and activists take center stage. The intention of each touchpoint during the event is to use the power of art and culture to reach critical voters, with a particular focus on young voters and voters of color, and to address and advocate for issues that will also appear on the ballot, such as reproductive rights, anti-racism, and more.

“To ensure that American democracy remains strong, women have access to health care, families can afford to live, meaningful action is taken on climate change, and more, it is vital that every eligible voter, regardless of race or age, goes to the polls this year,” says Drive Agency founder and INTO ACT!ON co-host Jessy Tolkan. “Meeting potential voters where they are and using cultural reference points as a catalyst for important conversations is a tremendous opportunity.”
