How Jennifer Lopez celebrated Ben Affleck’s birthday

Ben Affleck celebrated his 52nd birthday on August 15, but according to Jennifer Lopez’s Instagram page, his fans were unaware. The 55-year-old superstar decided to share a stunning carousel of glamorous snaps in a chic Dior outfit with his followers on Affleck’s big day – which may have been a subtle message for him.

The sheer, nude-colored outfit, which featured sparkling silver flowers and a black designer sash, accentuated her toned figure. With her hair pulled back in a sleek high ponytail, diamond chandelier earrings and her signature J.Lo makeup, she looked stunning! The confidence Lopez displayed on the outside also seemed to shine from within. Perhaps she was telling Affleck that she was doing well despite their summer spent apart.

Although the estranged couple could not enjoy a romantic dinner together, Page Six Lopez was seen paying Affleck a visit at his Brentwood rental home. She kept it casual with jeans, a tan cropped jacket and that high ponytail, but she didn’t seem to go all out on his birthday – no presents or cake – sorry, Ben. This potential rejection isn’t such a big deal, though, since Affleck didn’t attend Lopez’s birthday Bridgertontheme party on July 24. He was in the middle of finalizing the purchase contract on a $20.5 million home, which seemed to confirm that the couple was “focused on their separate lives.”

This summer, Affleck and Lopez spent the entire summer apart – she was in the Hamptons and he was in LA. “Ben is still living in the rental apartment in Brentwood. He’s been there for about two months now,” an insider said People in July. “He seems to be OK. He is in the office every day and seems to be focused on work. He also spends time with his children.”

Their time apart has caused some of Lopez’s inner circle to breathe a sigh of relief. It seems that important people in her life, including Leah Remini and manager Benny Medina, were not happy with how Affleck treated their friend. Remini believes Lopez’s husband was “selfish and not fully committed as a partner,” while Medina had “enemy blood” with Affleck, according to Page Six. While Lopez jokes about how good she looks on her Instagram page, everyone around her seems to think they are better off apart than together.
