Although Ben Affleck apparently wasn’t back together with Jennifer Lopez on his birthday (she was busy posting pictures of her own birthday/partying at a Bruno Mars concert), did Spend quality time with the other Jennifer in his life.
Jennifer Garner was spotted visiting her ex-husband at his rental home on August 15 (here are some paparazzi photos) and it seems she continues to be a great support to him.
“Jennifer Garner is communicative and offers Ben an understanding shoulder,” a source recently said Entertainment tonight“She is by his side every step of the way and is very supportive as the children are involved. She also respects his personal and private life and doesn’t interfere too much.”

Speaking of not being too involved, another insider told the Daily Mail that the Alias Fed up of serving as a marriage counselor to her ex, the star says, “Jen got to a point where she said, ‘I’m sorry, figure this out for yourself.’ It was starting to become too painful for her because it brought back so many memories of her divorce.”
They continued, “There were times during their marriage when Jen felt like she was second fiddle to J.Lo, even though there was no communication between her and Ben for years. She was surprised by how much he stepped out in the public eye after they reunited, because he was always a man who wanted out of the spotlight during their marriage. Jen opened her home and life to J.Lo because she had put the past behind her. She cares about J.Lo and cares about her children and how this will affect all of them. But ultimately, it’s not Jen’s circus, it’s not Jen’s monkeys, and she’s done playing marriage counselor to her ex-husband and his wife.”
