Just ahead of her biggest headline show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park this weekend, artist, producer, DJ and cultural trailblazer Peggy Gou returns today (Friday 16 August) with her latest single ‘Find The Way’ on Gudu Records.
The first new track since the release of her debut album I Hear You, this latest single builds on her recent sonic terrain. An attempt to become the song of the season in mid-summer, “Find The Way” sees Gou addictively blending her feather-light, airy vocals with a tepid, colorful ’90s house beat that’s lush with soft keys, acid-laced synths, and hypnotic basslines.
2024 has already been a huge year for Gou, with the release of her highly anticipated debut album I Hear You on XL Recordings in June. As well as rave reviews from The Observer, NME, The Line of Best Fit and more, she has also graced the covers of Billboard (US), Vogue Germany and L’Officiel Italia. It’s also been a huge year for her in the live arena, playing to over a million people in 2023 and having a string of high-profile appearances at festivals such as Coachella, Ultra, EDC and Primavera in 2024, as well as a headlining slot on Glastonbury’s Park Stage.
