The DOVES program presents together with the Carnegie Arts Center in Alliance
Embrace Courage: Tell Me Your Story, a powerful art exhibition about survivors, created by
September 3, 2024 to October 19, 2024. This exhibition features artworks by survivors of
Sexual, domestic and intimate partner violence, stalking and human trafficking – demonstrates the power of storytelling through creative expression.
An art reception will take place on September 7, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Carnegie
Arts Center, and you are invited to attend. This project was designed to provide survivors with a unique opportunity to tell their story. DOVES recognizes the critical role art plays in healing, and research confirms that creative expression can promote mental and emotional well-being. Your presence is an important part of this project as it honors and recognizes the courage of these survivors.
