DOCOMO and INTAGE jointly launch the “Data Clean Room” service

NTT DOCOMO, INTAGE and DOCOMO Insight Marketing (DIM) have announced the launch of the “DOCOMO Data Clean Room”.

This data cleanroom allows partner companies to independently analyze customer data using various data sets from DOCOMO and INTAGE. All data is used in a way that does not identify individuals and can be analyzed in a secure environment where privacy is maintained. The service is provided by DIM.

This service runs on a SaaS platform that allows partner companies to analyze customer data by combining DOCOMO and INTAGE data. This includes various data sets such as attribute information and location information of over 100 million members owned by DOCOMO, as well as additional data sets such as “SCI” ​​and “Kailog (CODE)” owned by INTAGE and its subsidiaries. Partner companies can use customer data without having to share it with external parties.

The analytics capabilities of this service are further enhanced by the profiling and behavioral information generated by DOCOMO’s proprietary AI engine “docomo Sense”. This enables advanced customer analysis by combining attributes, interests, pre-purchase comparisons and information on products purchased at the same time with the purchasing behavior-focused analysis that partner companies previously performed only with their own data. This enables a wide range of marketing activities, such as new product development, demand forecasting and campaign planning.

In addition to using this service, the companies offer consulting services to help clients achieve comprehensive solutions, from research and analysis to visualization and implementation of marketing strategies and optimization.
