A WWE star has shared his intriguing idea for a big match next year – he wants to be the one to send John Cena into retirement.
Speaking to the Daily Star, WWE star Bron Breakker described what his “dream match” would be and his answer was interesting.
Bron Breakker said:
“I think the only appropriate match that comes to mind is to retire John Cena, because as far as I know he’s going on a farewell tour.
“I don’t know how long he’s going to be around and stuff, or what his schedule is like, but if he wants to come back and have the best match possible with the biggest talent he hasn’t worked with yet, then I’m the guy.
“There’s no one else. So if he wants to get in there and compete with the best of the best of the next generation, then I’ll be the leader in that locker room for the next five, 10 years.”
John Cena is actually embarking on a farewell tour, as he has announced that he will be appearing in WWE starting in January 2025, coinciding with the move of WWE Raw to Netflix.
He will continue working throughout the year and eventually retire.
Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn at WWE SummerSlam 2024 last weekend to win his first main roster title, the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
