Deadpool and Wolverine’s timeline means the dark X-Men story Fox hid from you could happen in the MCU

Since Deadpool and Wolverine took viewers back to Earth-10005 four years before the Westchester Incident, it’s possible that Marvel Studios will finally detail this event in a future MCU project. James Mangold originally wanted to show the Westchester incident in Loganbut changed his tactics so that Logan could be more character-oriented (above Coming soon). Since the scene has already been written, Marvel Studios could easily adapt it for the MCU, which could benefit both the former and upcoming X-Men team.

Actually downplays those things?” Let’s just make it feel like it’s a normal thing, like it happened. And instead of underlining it, yeah. Let’s just let it live in the background of all these characters.

The Westchester incident is the best way to remove the X-Men before the MCU recasts them

Since Deadpool and Wolverine Since Earth-10005 ended intact, it would be safe to assume that the X-Men are still active in that universe. This means that it would be possible for the likes of Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, and even Hugh Jackman to reprise their classic roles in the future of the MCU. The return of these heroes could provide an opportunity to finally address the Westchester incident on screen.It hasn’t been revealed which X-Men died as a result of Charles Xavier’s seizure, but Marvel Studios may finally reveal the truth.

Although this would be a tragic scene in the MCU, killing off 20th Century Fox’s X-Men team would be the best way to say a final goodbye to the old franchise. This would end the stories of these characters once and for all and clear the way for Marvel Studios to introduce their own X-Men team in the MCU. Deadpool and Wolverine was initially seen as a pioneer for this development, but Marvel Studios now has the chance to tell more stories with this popular X-Men team before they are recast.
