Nightfall returns to Old Tucson bigger and better than ever

Nightfall returns to Old Tucson bigger and better than ever

TUCSON, Arizona (13 News) – Last year, Old Tucson promised a Nightfall like no other – the most actors they’ve ever hired, tons of redesigns and even more attractions.

But the question now is: Will they try to top that this year?

“Our entire team here at Old Tucson has worked tirelessly over the summer to ensure we deliver a Nightfall that is more ambitious and bigger than last year,” said Natalie Eleftheriadis, Marketing Manager at Old Tucson.

Last year, according to Nightfall, guests demanded more scary experiences and this year, too, this was the case.

“People just want more,” said Tony Sanders, general manager of Old Tucson. “They want more immersive experiences. We saw an increase in all areas last year, and that meant we had to keep up this year.”

This year they are causing terror with a demon queen.

In 2023, they saw both revenue and attendance increase year over year after adding more. So now they are adding two additional haunted attractions, a new mini golf course, a restaurant and…

“Due to popular demand, free parking will return in 2024,” Sanders said.

Old Tucson said to properly continue the tradition, they must stay connected to the past while investing more in the future.

“So many people came here when they were much younger and they were scared, and now they’re back and we’re scaring them even more,” Sanders said. “I think it’s just that connection to Tucson and the community.”

The first day of darkness begins on September 27. For more information, see HERE.
