Princess Kate has “no reason to worry about the drama in the royal family,” one commentator claimed.

Back in March, the Princess of Wales announced in an emotional video that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

In June, the 42-year-old, who is undergoing preventative chemotherapy, said in a health update that she has “good days and bad days.”

Royal commentator Jennie Bond claimed the diagnosis had made the Princess of Wales think about her priorities in life.

According to Bond, Kate’s biggest concerns are for Prince William and their three children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6).

She said: “I am sure that cancer has made Catherine rethink her life and her priorities.

“And I think those priorities are clearly her family, her husband and her children.

“I don’t think there is room in their heads or hearts to worry about the dramas of the past or anything Harry and Meghan might say or do now or in the future.”

Bond added that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020, were likely “irrelevant” to Kate and Prince William.

She claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales were a “close and strong unit” after 13 years of marriage.

The commentator continued to tell OK!: “As far as William and Catherine are concerned, Harry and Meghan are irrelevant to them, their family and the future of their lives.

“But there hasn’t been any real new drama coming out of California since her cancer diagnosis, so I don’t think William felt he had to protect Catherine from anything in particular.

“William and Catherine are a close and strong unit. I don’t think they have anything more to fear from Harry and Meghan.”

After Kate made her diagnosis public, Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson sent his best wishes to the Princess of Wales.

They said: “We wish Kate and the family health and healing and hope they can do this privately and in peace.”

It is also believed that the Duchess had private contact with the Princess during her treatment period.
