Kakao Games (CEO: Sang-Woo Han) announced on the 13th that its European subsidiary has signed a worldwide publishing deal for two upcoming titles from its development subsidiary Ocean Drive Studio (CEO: Hee-Jae Kim).
Kakao Games Europe is known for its successful game service in the global market and will leverage its extensive service and operational experience to support the localization and commercialization of Ocean Drive Studio’s upcoming titles: Lost Eidolons: Witch’s Veil And Section 13.
Ocean Drive Studio, known for delivering innovative gaming experiences on PC and console platforms, will be responsible for the overall development and operations of these new titles, ensuring they resonate with audiences worldwide.
Lost Eidolons: Witch’s Veil builds on the highly acclaimed combat system of its predecessor, Lost Eidolonswhile introducing a more immersive and rich storyline. Unlike the original, this new title is developed as a turn-based RPG with roguelite elements, offering a fresh and dynamic gaming experience.
On the other hand, Section 13 is a reinterpretation of the tactical co-op shooter Blackout Protocol as an action-packed roguelite shooter. Ocean Drive Studio has invested heavily in improving the story and gameplay and has allocated significant resources to developing this game under the new title.
