Web game developer Arkadium launches publishing fund for third-party partners

Arkadium Games has done what other indie developers have done and founded its own publishing label. Its title “Publication Fund 1” will provide $1 million worth of financial and resource support to external casual web game studios.

The developer is so confident in its performance that it also guarantees its partners one million game launches in the first 90 days after the release of their game.

Development Director Dan Butchko noted that the Fund is on its “Arkadium for developers‘ program, which launched last April. He added that AFP1 “provides even more support for game developers to succeed in the browser.”

“This is the next step in our continued growth as a leader in browser-based gaming as we partner with some of the world’s most innovative and passionate game developers to build the world’s best gaming platform.”

CEO Kenny Rosenblatt further said that APF1 “levels the playing field and expands the reach of talented developers by providing world-class publishing and our $1 million publishing fund.”

As part of the announcement, Arkadium announced a partnership to publish browser games through Article 19 (Escape from the room), Famobi (Element blocks) and Sony (Who wants to be a millionaire?).
