“Now he doesn’t know how to behave,” joked Simone’s sister Adria about the gold chain

Simone Biles’ father Ronald celebrated a milestone birthday just days after his daughter made history at the Olympics – and now he has a gift from Snoop Dogg to commemorate it. On Thursday, the gymnast’s sister, Adria, shared a photo of their father Ronald celebrating his 75th birthday with a gold chain around his neck – a gift from Snoop himself.

“Snoop gave him a chain now he don’t know how to act,” Adria wrote on her Instagram story. In the photo, Ronald can be seen holding a gold Death Row Records chain above his Team USA merch while celebrating at an Olympic stadium. “75 looks great on you! Happy birthday, I love you,” Adria continued.

Also on Thursday, Simone shared a photo of Ronald holding up a chocolate cake and some candles as the family watched the track and field competitions. “Happy birthday,” was written on the cake’s icing.

The Biles family has spent some time with Snoop during the Games. Simone’s parents Nellie and Ronald watched the opening ceremony with Snoop and Hoda Kotb and recalled a time when they met Snoop years ago. “I’ll never forget when we met in Times Square in 2010. We asked for a photo and you said, ‘Two minutes.’ One, two and you were gone,” Nellie said during the ceremony as the crew giggled.

The sweet celebration comes just a week after Biles graduated from the Olympics, where she won three gold medals and a silver medal for Team USA. Biles made history by winning the all-around final, which she also won in Rio in 2016. With that victory, she became the first U.S. gymnast to win the women’s all-around twice and only the third gymnast to ever do so.

Snoop Dogg has now become a fan favorite on NBC’s coverage of the Paris Games. On Friday, the musician opened the first breakdance battles at the Olympic Games by entering the breakdance stage in a C-walk.
