After a preview of LEONARDO DA VINCIa film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon, the world’s most famous artist, Leonardo da Vinci, has something to say.
Leonardo da Vinci, played by Gregory DeCandia, sails across the Atlantic to celebrate his newfound fame and test your knowledge of the archetypal Renaissance man.
Leonardo has put together a fun and irreverent evening of “trivia with a difference” to ensure people learn all about his lasting contributions to science, technology and the humanities.
Each quiz round consists of intelligence tests, creativity challenges (led by artist Justin Ayala), and tantalizing toasts – all to test your previous knowledge of da Vinci.
No artistic or trivial experience is required, but all participants must be at least 21 years old.
Bringing Da Vinci to life is a series of events presented by WITF celebrating Leonardo da Vinci’s lasting impact as an artist, inventor and innovator. The events include 12 free Art Workshops for adults throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Bringing Da Vinci to life culminates on November 2nd with a free collective exhibition and a preview of LEONARDO DA VINCIa film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon.
LEONARDO DA VINCIa two-part, four-hour documentary, premieres November 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. on WITF TV and the PBS app.
Bringing Da Vinci to life is presented by WITF and supported by our partners:
