Big Brother selects houseguests through applications and scouting on social media. Some houseguests are also friends of former houseguests. Big Brother 26 started with 16 completely new faces. However, it has already been announced that Quinn Martin has an interesting connection to Zach Wurtenberger from Survivors 42 and the brother of last year’s house guest, Cory Wurtenberger.
He is not the only houseguest of season 26 who is connected to someone who appeared before him on the CBS show. Tucker Des Lauriers is a model who has become a major force in the house by winning competitions and challenging other people. Tucker is friends with “Big Brother” winner Cody Calafiore
The risky player was friends with Cody Calafiore for years. Cody was second in Big Brother 16 and earned a reputation for being loyal beyond measure. He changed this legacy upon his return for Big Brother 22 and won. The soccer coach was the head of an alliance and played the All Stars season very safely to ensure his victory. This seems to be the exact opposite strategy for Tucker, who voluntarily put himself on the block repeatedly to compete in the BB AI Arena and beat his competition.
The live broadcasts on August 12 showed Tucker in conversation with Kimo Apaka, Angela MurrayAnd Joseph Rodriguez early in the morning. “My friend Cody was here and at Traitors,” he told them. The cameras panned away from them. Cody played in the first season of The traitors and returned for Big Brother: Reindeer GamesIt’s unclear if his connection to Winner will be revealed in the episodes. But it looks like the feeds are planning to pause Tucker’s conversations about his friendship with Cody for now.
Cody is not Tucker’s only connection to the Big Brother Universe. Taylor Hale published on Rob has a podcast that the wildcard used to date one of her friends. Cody, Taylor and last season’s winner, Jag Bains Comment on the big events of Season 26 in an episode on August 13. It is unknown if Tucker will achieve the same goal and win the $750,000 prize. He already has a big target on his back in Week 4 due to his competition wins and unpredictable social media strategy. If he wins, he will follow in their footsteps.
