Under previous rules, teams gradually reduced their rosters from 90 to 53 players in August. Since 2023, teams can keep 90 players until the deadline for the 53-man roster. This year, the date is Tuesday, August 27By then, we will know who makes Green Bay’s roster. In addition, the Packers will begin building their practice squad, which could include up to 17 players.
