“She’s taking over the house!” This looks crazy! A24 has released a second trailer for a horror thriller titled The front roomthe directorial debut of the Eggers Brothers – Max & Sam. They are also brothers of filmmaker Robert Eggers (of The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman) and have worked with him on some of those films as well. This new original horror film will be in theaters in early September. The front room is about a young, newly pregnant couple who suddenly have to take in a sickly, estranged stepmother. A24 describes it as: the incomparable brandy returns to horror in a legendary duel against Kathryn Hunterthe nastiest mother-in-law of all. Actress: Singer/Actress Brandy Norwood as Belinda, with Andrew Burnap, Neal Huffand Kathryn Hunter. This still looks very much like Exitalthough I hope Brandy fights back and defeats her. There’s a lot of crazy WTF footage in this new trailer! Enjoy.

For newly pregnant Belinda (singer/songwriter/actress Brandy Norwood), everything goes wrong after her mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter) moves in. When the devilish guest tries to get the child in his claws, Belinda has to draw the line somewhere… The front room was both written and directed by up-and-coming American filmmakers Max Eggers (who was also co-author The lighthouse) and Sam Eggersalso known as the Eggers Brothers (and brothers of fellow filmmaker Robert Eggers), make their directorial debut after other production work. Produced by Babak Anvari, Lucan Toh, David Hinojosa, Julia Oh. As far as we know, this film has not premiered at film festivals or anywhere else. A24 will release the Eggers Brothers film.
