How much would you eat on a cruise if you had the metabolism of a 17-year-old teenager?

The sister of a 17-year-old who is taking a Royal Caribbean cruise with his family has provided the answers in the form of a hilarious revelation about her brother’s healthy appetite.

Kyleigh Ryan’s TikTok video was viewed more than 4.7 million times and received around 9,000 comments and nearly 500,000 likes from viewers. Most comments praised Ryan for getting his money’s worth on the cruise and helping to prevent food waste.

In the video, Ryan documents her brother’s meals and snacks throughout the cruise day, keeping meticulous records of everything he ate.

The beginning of Ryan’s viral TikTok shows her and her brother having breakfast at the Windjammer, Royal Caribbean’s standard buffet that serves meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the TikTok video, Ryan’s brother makes three separate courses to the breakfast buffet and consumes

  • 3 slices of French toast
  • 2 doughnuts
  • A plate of bacon
  • Rösti
  • 3 more slices of French toast
  • 2 sausages
  • A chocolate croissant
  • 1 more donut
  • 2 glasses of apple juice

Before lunch, Ryan shows a clip of her brother eating his first ice cream cone on the pool deck.

For lunch, the 17-year-old goes to Sorrento to get a free pizza from Royal Caribbean. Ryan shows her brother going to the counter three times to eat lunch. The teenager eats the following:

  • 2 pieces of pepperoni pizza
  • 2 more pieces of pepperoni pizza
  • 2 last pieces of pepperoni pizza

After grabbing lunch at Sorrento’s, the teenager heads back to the pool deck to grab two more cones from the soft serve machine.

The TikTok video continues to show the teenager eating dinner in the main dining room, indulging in the following dish:

  • 2 cheddar rolls with butter
  • 2 glasses of lemonade
  • 1 more cheddar roll with butter
  • Arancini starter
  • 2 steaks with baked potato and broccoli
  • Chocolate dessert with ice cream
  • Lemon tart

After dinner, Ryan shows her brother heading back to Sorrento’s for a midnight snack and grabbing four final slices of pizza before calling it a day.

Ryan’s viral TikTok has been a hit with viewers on the social media app. The video has garnered over 9,000 comments, most of which praise the teen’s eating tenacity.
