Woman arrested after sharing Applebee’s ‘All You Can Eat’ appetizer

A woman was recently arrested after sharing her “All You Can Eat” appetizer from Applebee’s with others at her table.

Shawneesha Cobbsof Chicago was charged with a Class B misdemeanor of public disturbance in connection with the incident. PennLive.com Reports. Cobbs allegedly ignored the “per person, per order” notice on the food before a manager informed the table that each person sharing the meal would have to pay $15.99.

The situation reportedly escalated from a verbal argument to a riot, with Cobbs making a scene despite claiming the manager was behaving unprofessionally. Cobbs reportedly exchanged words with other customers and yelled before police officers warned her twice that she would be arrested if she didn’t calm down.

Cobbs was taken to the Porter County Jail and formally charged in connection with the incident. It remains unclear whether the other guests at the table paid for their share of the all-you-can-eat entree.

Applebee’s website states that the All You Can Eat appetizer is for consumption in the restaurant only and is not to be shared.

“*In-restaurant dining only, no takeout orders. Limited time only. Price and participation vary. No substitutions. Offer valid per person, per order. No sharing,” said a press release announcing the return of the appetizers.

The All You Can Eat option includes boneless wings, riblets or double crunch shrimp served with endless fries.
