Beetlejuice: Beetlejuice has “stronger story” than the 1988 original, says Michael Keaton

Michael Keaton tells the carefully hidden story of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and promises a much more character-focused narrative. Keaton returns 36 years after the original film as the titular, sleazy bio-exorcist, along with returning cast members Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara. In the new film, Beetlejuice’s paths cross again with those of the Deetz family. Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci also appear as new living and dead members of the horror comedy world.
