Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County is in full swing Shannon Beaders cock. Drunk driving and an arrest followed by angry reactions from the public can do that to a girl. Plus, Shannon’s ex, John Janssenis now suing her, while his new girlfriend, Alexis Bellino, is rejoining Shannon’s cast. If you ask Emily Simpson about John, we learn that she is not his biggest fan, despite Alexis’ convincing attempts to rename her husband after Shannon. Emily still doesn’t trust the guy, and as for his lawsuit against Shannon, Emily says that’s suspicious.
Emily thinks the timing of John’s lawsuit is “suspicious”
John filed his lawsuit against Shannon on March 20, 2024. He is now suing his ex for $75,000. Shannon allegedly borrowed this large sum of money from John for a facelift. She then agreed to repay his loan with interest, but despite multiple requests in 2023 and 2024, John claims Shannon still hasn’t paid a dime.
On Shannon’s side, her attorney countered, saying that Shannon had agreed to pay his claim in full, but “John rejected the offer because he refused to sign a mutual non-disparagement agreement.”
This fight is now in the hands of the courts.
When Andy Cohen appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, he asked Emily about the lawsuit. “What do you think about John Janssen’s lawsuit against Shannon?” Andy asked. Emily sighed and responded very supportively to Shannon.
“I think the timing is very questionable. I think he (John) had the opportunity to ask for the money when they split up months ago, but I think he waited until after we filmed,” Emily concluded bluntly, while Andy let out an “mmmm.”
This statement probably won’t do Alexis any good. And it won’t do Johnny J any good. But it will give us another storyline for RHOC in season 19 if Emily and Alexis return.
