Pre-orders are open for the entire new Pixel line of devices, including the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. There are also deals available as Google is ready to launch the new range of phones it has developed that look like Google is reaching a whole new level of quality. These phones look insane.
First of all, you can redeem bonus credits when you purchase the new Pixel 9 series. In addition, trade-in values have been increased at some retailers, including the Google Store.
Here’s a quick look at the best Pixel 9 Pro deals available.
$200 bonus credit with Pixel 9 Pro: While Google and its retail partners aren’t offering discounts on the new phones without a trade-in, they all give you bonus cash to spend on other things besides your new Pixel 9 Pro. That means $200 Google Store credit when you buy a Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro XL. If you prefer to go to Best Buy, you will get a Best Buy gift card valued at $200And then there is Amazon, which keeps up by $200 Amazon gift cards.
And to get those credits, all you have to do is buy the new phones. So again, no discount, but you can then use those credits on accessories to buy a Pixel Watch 3 or the Pixel Buds Pro 2, or maybe you just want to order some groceries for free from Amazon.
$760 trade-in discount: The Google Store is currently offering up to $760 off (back) if you trade in your current device for a Pixel 9 Pro or 9 Pro XL. While it’s not the instant discount like Samsung offers, you’ll still end up saving a ton of money.
To get the full $760, you’d have to trade in the original Pixel Fold. Since I can’t imagine most of you have one to trade in, you’ll be happy to hear that Google is giving you $699 for your Pixel 8 Pro. Other values include $490 for a Pixel 8, $540 for a Pixel 7 Pro, and $450 for a Pixel 6 Pro. Those all seem like really great prices to me, especially for older devices like the 7 Pro and 6 Pro.
If you prefer to trade in your device at Best Buy, feel free to use their trade-in estimator engine. I took a quick look and saw $625 for a Pixel 8 Pro, which is below what Google is offering.
In total we saved $960, with a trade of $760 and a balance of $200. Not bad.
