This is how St. Ignace celebrates all summer long: music every evening, fireworks on the weekend

ST. IGNACE, Michigan – With the Mackinac Bridge on one side of town and Mackinac Island offshore on the other, it’s no surprise that this tourist town is full of fun in the summer.

During the months of July and August, St. Ignace welcomes locals and visitors with evening programs every night of the week. This allows residents to enjoy the summer nights and all of these activities roll out the red carpet for tourists and other vacationers.

“We have a unique music event every night of the week during July and August,” said Lora Brown, executive director of the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau. “All of this takes place along our downtown waterfront and in four parks that include a playground, wading pool, fishing pier, beach, restaurants and shops.”

All events will take place until the last week of August. Find more details here.
