Fears of a major conflict in the Middle East have prompted international airlines to cancel flights to the region or avoid affected airspace.
Below are some of the airlines that have adjusted their connections to and from the region:
Aegean Airlines
The Greek airline has cancelled all flights to and from Beirut, Amman and Tel Aviv until August 19.
Air Algeria
The Algerian airline has temporarily suspended flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.
Airbalt
The Latvian airline Air Baltic has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 18.
Air India
The Indian airline has suspended scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice.
Air France-Klm (AIRF.PA)
Air France has extended the suspension of flights between Paris and Beirut until August 14.
The Dutch subsidiary KLM has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26.
Low-cost airline Transavia has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025.
Cathay Pacific (0293.HK)
Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.
Delta Air Lines (DAL.N)
The US airline extended the suspension of flights between New York and Tel Aviv until August 31.
Easyjet (EZJ.L)
The British low-cost airline suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv in April and will resume them on March 30, 2025, a spokesman said.
Lufthansa (LHW1S.HE)
The Finnish airline continues not to use Iranian airspace for its routes, which may lead to longer flight times to and from Doha.
TA Airways
Italian airline ITA Airways has extended the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 15, it wrote on its official X-account.
Lufthansa Group (LHAG.DE)
The German airline, which also owns Swiss Air Lines and Austrian Airlines, expanded its avoidance of Iranian and Iraqi airspace and announced that it would suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, Amman and the Iraqi city of Erbil until August 21.
Ryanair (RYA.I)
Europe’s largest low-cost airline has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 26, citing “operational restrictions”.
SunExpress
SunExpress Airlines, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines (THYAO.IS) and Lufthansa, has cancelled all flights to Beirut until August 14.
Singapore Airlines (SIAL.SI)
The Singaporean airline has stopped flying over Iranian airspace and is using alternative routes.
Tarom
Romania’s national airline has extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv, Amman and Beirut until August 16.
United Airlines (UAL.O)
The Chicago-based airline has suspended its flights to Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future. It suspended daily service between Newark, New Jersey and Tel Aviv on July 31 due to safety concerns.
Vueling
Spanish low-cost airline Vueling, owned by IAG (ICAG.L), has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv and Amman until October 26.
Lebanese airspace: warnings
Britain advised British airlines not to enter Lebanese airspace from August 8 to November 4 because “military activities pose a potential threat to aviation.”
