“Introducing the brand new ‘Tellabab!’ It’s a dessert kebab! A homemade donut pita bread filled with milk and white chocolate shavings straight from the rotisserie, fresh strawberries, fresh bananas, fresh homemade whipped cream and loads of Nutella!” they wrote under their recent Instagram photo of this delicacy.

This is the sweet version of the savory doner kebab – a popular favorite of night owls.

Just like a chicken being sliced ​​from a rotisserie, they slice milk and white Belgian chocolate from a 13-kilogram piece that rotates on a spit made especially for the cafe.

Owner Aki Daikos told Good Food that the chocolate trunk was a big trend in the UAE and that he was pretty sure they were the only ones in Australia making this unique sweet treat.

Daikos, who grew up eating Yiros as a child of Greek descent, said: “It’s always been my dream to create a dessert version of it. A 360-degree view of this rotating chocolate log is incredible.”

The Tellabab will be available at Tella Balls Dessert Bar starting Thursday, June 2 for $10.
