RHOC star Emily Simpson shares her thoughts on John Janssen’s ongoing lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Shannon Beador.
In Thursday’s episode of See what’s happening liveEmily Simpson shared her thoughts on John Janssen’s lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Shannon Beador.
Emily Simpson found the timing of John’s lawsuit suspicious and believes he only sued Shannon because of his ongoing relationship with Alexis Bellino.
“I think the timing is very questionable. I think he had the opportunity to ask for the money when they split up months ago. But I think he was waiting for it while we were filming.” said the RHOC star on WWHL.
Emily also called out Alexis for taking receipts from Shannon’s $75,000 facelift to Heather Dubrow’s party while she was with We weekly Earlier this week.
The RHOC star believes Alexis wanted to humiliate Shannon with her antics.
“I think what bothered me was that I never had a problem with Alexis being with John,” Said Emily. “And then the first group outing we went on, to Heather’s party at the Balboa Debate Club, I actually drove there with Alexis and I felt like she was being very reasonable on the way there. She was like, ‘I don’t want to fight with Shannon. I don’t want to be in a bad relationship with her.'”
Emily continued: “Then (when) we’re there, she’ll say one thing, but then she’ll act completely different. She’ll say, ‘I want to be friends with her.’ But then she’ll demean her. She’ll say, ‘I just want to get along with this woman.’ But then she’ll keep talking about John around her. And it’s like it doesn’t make sense.”
She added: “I mean, if you show up at a dinner and there are a lot of people there and you have copies of receipts, all you’re trying to do is humiliate them.”
As EverythingAboutTRH As previously reported, John is suing Shannon for allegedly borrowing $75,000 for a facelift and failing to repay the loan.
On March 20, John filed a lawsuit against Shannon in Orange County Superior Court “among other things, for breach of contract and breach of promise, to recover $75,000 that he claims she did not repay him.”
John claims that the RHOC star “approached him for financial assistance in early 2022 and borrowed $40,000 for a facelift via wire transfer on January 23, 2022. Then, on May 20, 2023, he gave her another $35,000 via check.”
In the court filing, the OC businessman claims that Shannon agreed to repay both loans with interest, but when he tried to collect the payments in 2023 and 2024, the reality star failed.
