Kylie Jenner celebrates her 27th birthday
On Saturday (August 10), Kylie Jenner officially turned 27. She celebrated the occasion with a small but atmospheric party with close friends and family. In video and photo clips that she and guests shared on social media from the event, Kylie can be seen wearing a sleek black mini dress with a halter neckline. She also shows off her stunning birthday cake. The cake is decorated with white icing, red flowers, green leaves and super-large red candles. In the shots that Kylie shared on social media, guests can be seen in the background.
In Kylie’s main birthday post, she shared some Polaroid photos from the party on a carousel on her Instagram timeline. She also poked a little fun at her age and maturity in the post, writing the caption: “27 (basically 30) full of love and so grateful. Thank you God.”
Kris took to social media to share some photos and also honor Kylie, writing, “Happy birthday to my beautiful little girl @kyliejenner!!!!!! I fell in love with you from the first moment I saw you… it was love at first sight! I am so incredibly proud of you and thank God every day for you. You are the most incredible mommy and I love seeing you every day with your children… so kind, gentle, calm, smart, creative, funny, compassionate, considerate, loving, generous, sensitive and strong.”
The birthday greetings continued, with Kim Kardashian posting a beautiful message to Kylie on Instagram, poking fun at the fact that she’s “basically 30.” In the post, she wrote, “I want to thank the universe for blessing me with such a sweet sister like you. Your silliness, kindness and love are the greatest gifts I could ever ask for. Happy birthday you little private soul, @kyliejenner. You’re basically 30 now.” Kendall echoed the 30-year-old’s post, saying, “Guess who’s basically 30 now? @kyliejenner.”
So why all the talk about 30? The Kardashians and Jenners have been doing this for a while. When Kendall turned 28, Kylie wished her a happy 30th birthday. The talk about “basically 30” was also in The Kardashiansparticularly in an episode where Kylie said Kendall was “basically 30” when she was actually 27.
