Born Naomi Ramirez, the 29-year-old artist has always been herself and is a passionate, exciting voice for women in urban music. When asked about the changes she wants to see in the industry, she said: “I think there is still so much to be done, but I believe that women with no demands, with no anything, for ourselves, for those who come after us, for what we believe in, for what we like, for what we want to do, we are creating something really beautiful, really transcendent and really evolving.”

In a message to other women, she said: “Big kisses on the lips, on the forehead, on the cheeks, wherever you want, to all the women who are absolutely successful in this genre and outside of it, who are absolutely successful in every discipline – I love you all.”

RaiNao released her debut album CAPICÚ in early February this year, accompanied by beautiful visuals that showcase her creativity and acting talent. She hopes that this work will stand the test of time. “I embrace this album that took me a long time to create and that I think is transcendent. I hope that you can listen to this album now, like you did three months ago or even a year from now, and that it helps you in one way or another to improve your life,” she shared.

After the album’s release, she went into a quiet phase where she enjoyed the fruits of her labor, “embracing myself, pushing through and doing whatever came to mind.” But now she is back in her creative phase and promises her fans: “As always, you can expect music, art and lots of love from me.”
