24-year-old woman reveals shocking reason for her “lifetime ban from flying with American Airlines”

Imposter.

Erin Wright, who goes by @erin_wright_ on TikTok, announced that American Airlines has allegedly “banned” her from flying with the airline for life.

“I was permanently banned from flying on American Airlines because I had sexual relations with a man on the plane, even though I am a lesbian,” Wright, 24, wrote online.

In the 4-minute, 47-second clip, uploaded on August 8 and viewed over 2.6 million times, Wright explained how she was denied boarding a flight to New Orleans for her sister’s bachelorette party.

“The (gate agent) looks nervous and says, ‘Ma’am, I’m really sorry to tell you this, but you have actually been banned from flying on American Airlines,'” Wright continued. “I was like, ‘What? I never did anything.'”

As much as Wright begged the Gate agent to explain the reason for her banishment, the agent resisted.

“I’m really sorry, but it’s an internal security issue. I can’t tell you, but the person on the phone told me you should know why,” she added.

Wright was confused, “frustrated” and overwhelmed by this unusual scenario, but remained determined to make it to her sister’s celebration. She had to shell out $1,000 for a new flight while waiting for a $400 refund for her previous flight.

“I realize I’m going to miss my flight and just have to book another flight. So I quickly booked another round-trip flight to New Orleans for $1,000,” Wright said. “I’ll get this sorted out and they’ll refund me.”

After a 12-day wait without a refund, Wright was informed that she was barred from boarding the airline due to alleged sexual conduct with a man in the airplane bathroom.

“I’m a 24-year-old lesbian. Do you see me? Do I have sexual relations with any man? No,” she scoffed.

Wright tried to think of the best way to prove that she was not the cocky passenger American Airlines had made her out to be, via email to customer service.

“I send them a very serious but also somewhat funny email because I say, ‘I don’t really know how to prove that it wasn’t me, other than the fact that I am a lesbian in the truest sense of the word,'” Wright said.

Fortunately, Wright’s mother was able to vouch for her daughter via email, which helped speed her removal from the no-fly list. While Wright’s name was cleared, the real Mile High Clubbers were not revealed.

“Now I’m off American Airlines’ no-fly list and I also lost $1,000, but they refunded me the $400 for the flight,” Wright said.

Although Wright is happy to be able to fly without restrictions, she expected American Airlines to reimburse her more for the mishap because it forced her to book another flight.

The Post has contacted American Airlines for comment.

“Thanks for being the worst,” Wright captioned the clip.

Many people were shocked by Wright’s turbulent situation.

“Apart from anything else, how could they allow you to make the booking if you were banned from the game?” asked one spectator.

Wright replied, “This,” and said she had no idea how the flight booking came about if the ban had been imposed on her.

Another person suggested: “Fileave a complaint with the Department of Transportation. They are legally obligated to not only refund your money but also give you an answer.”

“Can American Airlines be taken to small claims court? Did you pay for the second flight with a credit card that includes travel insurance?” added one TikToker.

Despite the confusion, Wright updated her followers about the recent status change of her flight.

“When they called me to tell me they were taking me off the no-fly list, they said, ‘I hope this wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.’ … Oh, you mean the last three months of communication, missing my flight, getting my lawyer involved, and having to email three directors at AA to get customer service to respond to me????”

But in a follow-up video posted on August 11, Wright revealed how she was able to recoup the money she lost through views of her TikTok clip.

“I pretty much made back exactly what I lost, so American Airlines doesn’t even have to make that up,” she said.

Wright claims that American Airlines has not contacted her since the last update on August 11, but plans to take action against her.

“I’m just really grateful for all your help and for getting the video out there because it saved me a lot of stress financially,” praised the content creator.
