Bonne Maman’s 2024 Advent Calendar is already on sale

You may be wondering why you are reading about Advent calendars in August, but it is never It’s too early to start looking forward to the holidays. Traditional Advent calendars may count down the days until Christmas, starting on December 1st and ending on December 24th, Christmas Eve, but who says we have to stick to that schedule?!

One of the most popular advent calendars of 2023 and my personal favorite is already available due to overwhelming demand. And even though the packaging is Christmas-themed, you don’t have to wait until December to enjoy the goodies inside. I’m talking about Bonne Maman’s jam-filled advent calendar, which was so successful last year that it sold out before Thanksgiving.

Bonne Maman 2024 Advent Calendar

The limited edition includes 24 single-serve jars, most of which contain flavors you won’t find any other time of year. In fact, many of these spreads are so rare that you’ll never be able to buy them as individual jars. Like a typical advent calendar, each spread is hidden behind its own door. I enjoyed opening each of these compartments to see which jam would grace my toast that morning.

Bonne Maman was kind enough to send me this year’s box, and a few standout spreads from 2023 – like caramel with coffee and purple fig with cinnamon – are back in the calendar. But there are also new and delicious-sounding jams that I’m dying to try, like wild blueberry with maple syrup, which sounds like a pancake in a jar.

It’s important to note that if you order the calendar now, you’ll receive it in a matter of days – it’s not a delayed ship that arrives around the holidays. However, you can wait until December to open the box if you want, as the best before date is June 2025. It’s hard to say how long the calendars will stay in stock, as they sold out early last year, so I recommend buying yours now, even if you plan on waiting until Advent to attend the jams.

If you are allergic to certain foods, Bonne Maman has published the full ingredient list for the 2024 calendar on its website, but be warned that if you take a look, you will miss out on the full range of flavors.

“It was fun to open it every day!” wrote one happy customer in a review, adding that it was “a nice way to try different flavors that aren’t available in our grocery stores.” This is also my favorite aspect because you can’t just buy these spreads anywhere. They are unique to this gift. I also agree with the reviews that mention the high-quality packaging. No jars broke or spilled anything in the two calendars I received.
