Top 5 Turkish Airlines US routes

Turkish Airlines is the only airline to serve all five of its busiest U.S. routes, taking advantage of the fact that no major U.S. carrier currently flies to Istanbul. This summer, the airline will fly to a total of 14 destinations in the U.S., with most routes offering at least daily flights. The Star Alliance carrier also recently expanded its U.S. route network, launching direct flights to Denver (DEN) earlier this year.

Turkish Airlines’ newest US route

Turkish Airlines entered the American continent in 1988 with flights to New York. Since then, Turkish Airlines has expanded its flight network to include Denver as its 14th destination in the USA.

The new flight will operate three times a week and will increase to four times a week next month.

The four weekly flights to Denver are the airline’s 347th destination in 130 countries. This additional service contributes to the volume of tourism and trade between the two countries by transporting thousands of passengers annually on the Istanbul-Denver route. Denver, the capital and largest city of the state of Colorado, attracts many domestic and international travelers with its cultural attractions and as a host of various sporting events.

Turkish Airlines Chairman and Executive Committee Chairman Prof. Ahmet Bolat commented on the new route:

“We are pleased to add a new route to our growing flight network. We began our operations to America with flights to New York via Brussels and six years later, on July 16, 1994, we began direct flights to New York. Today, we are proud to fly directly to 14 destinations in the United States, including Denver. This new route offers our passengers the opportunity to discover the historical and cultural richness of Istanbul and our country.”

The HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters on Turkish Airlines aircraft use a special filtration system that filters out 99.97% of all particles. HEPA filters ensure clean and safe air in the cabin.
