New book reveals how Kate Middleton celebrated her hen party; see here

Details of Kate Middleton’s hen party ahead of her wedding to Prince William have emerged in a new book by royal biographer Robert Jobson. Titled Catherine, Princess of Wales, the book recounts the private celebration planned for her by Kate’s sister Pippa.

The party was held at a friend’s house and only a few guests were invited. Among them were Kate’s friends from college and earlier school days. Olivia Beasdale, Kate’s roommate at the University of St Andrews, was in attendance, as were Alicia Fox-Pitt and Rose Astor, her friends from Marlborough College.

According to the book, Kate Middleton surprised everyone by wearing a tight bodysuit and pretending to be pop star Cheryl Cole. She sang Cole’s popular song “Fight for This Love” and performed a dance. At Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012, Prince William spoke to Cheryl Cole and revealed what happened at Kate Middleton’s hen party. He joked that Kate put on a good show at the party, suggesting she would have some competition in the live performance category.

In his book, Robert Jobson pointed out that Kate Middleton’s upbringing outside of the royal family helps her connect with people in a way that previous princesses may not have been able to. Despite marrying into royalty, Kate’s background and experiences before becoming the Duchess of Cambridge have shaped her ability to easily connect with others.

Cheryl Cole, who eventually met Kate Middleton in person, expressed her thoughts in the book. She positively described Kate as “ordinary” and mentioned how easy it was to connect with her despite her royal status. Cole’s experience with Kate underlined the down-to-earth nature that many admire in the Duchess.

Robert Jobson’s book offers a glimpse into Kate Middleton’s personal and fun side before she joined the royal family. Her hen party, filled with laughter and bonding among close friends, shows how she managed to combine her royal duties with moments of relaxation and fun.

In the book “Catherine, the Princess of Wales,” readers not only learn about Kate Middleton’s pre-wedding celebrations, but also gain insight into her transformation from a private citizen to a valued member of the royal family.
