It’s no secret that being on Real Housewives isn’t an easy job. And while fans speculate about how realistic the shows are, even the most seasoned pros struggle with it.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is a franchise that has seen many actresses step into the role of a housewife, no pun intended. There are too many former housewives to list, but of the current RHOBH cast, Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais both have extensive IMDBs.
Now an actress Jennifer Tillywho will appear as “Friend of” in the upcoming season, reveals how hard it is to be on the show.
“It’s so intense”
The Oscar-nominated actress, who was brought onto the show thanks to her close friend Sutton Stracke, recently spoke to PEOPLE. “I’m so glad I get to spend more time with Sutton because since she’s been on Housewives for the past few years, I now know it’s been very intense and I haven’t seen as much of her as I would have liked.”
Jennifer added that RHOBH was “a lot harder than acting,” but that Sutton showed her the ropes.
“She’s great because she kind of shows me how to do it, because it’s a little intimidating,” Jennifer said of Sutton. “She’s an excellent homemaker. (She’s) very direct, like, ‘You have to do this or you have to do that.'”
Sutton, who was also part of the interview, added: “No, it’s funny because I did Jennifer’s show Chucky. I had never done anything like that in my life, so this was new to me. When I saw her appear with us, I thought, ‘No, no, no, we don’t edit. We don’t say action because it’s not in the script – you’re basically just talking.'”
That’s something the longtime TV and film actress admitted is harder than filmmaking. “It’s a lot harder than acting. You’re basically just making it up as you go,” Jennifer claimed. Sutton chimed in, “They’re real. We’re real.”
