Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon in the Artpark

One of the biggest crowds of the season saw Artpark & ​​Company welcome Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon to the outdoor amphitheatre on Sunday night. The 1990s hitmakers were greeted with great participation and sing-alongs from the crowd, as the guests often appeared as guest vocalists as well.

Vertical Horizon kicked things off, getting their fans up and dancing with songs like “You’re a God,” “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning),” and “Everything You Want.”

Toad the Wet Sprocket followed, upping the ante with crowd-pleasers “Good Intentions,” “Rings,” “All I Want,” “Walk on the Ocean,” “Fall Down,” and a cover of REM’s “Driver 8,” which featured TTWS frontman Glen Phillips with Vertical Horizon’s Matt Scannell and Gin Blossoms lead singer Robin Wilson.

As the sun went down, Gin Blossoms lit up the stage with their high-energy set, sending the crowd into a frenzy of joy with a string of singles including “Allison Road,” “Found Out About You,” “Hey Jealousy,” and “Til I Hear It from You.”

In addition to a full night of music, the bands raffled off a signed guitar, with proceeds benefiting the Gary Sinise Foundation and this country’s veterans and first responders.
