Malik Nabers tells the story of a great interaction with Odell Beckham Jr.

When Malik Nabers was drafted by the New York Giants, there was one comparison that everyone would make. Every day that Malik Nabers goes through training camp, he is compared to Odell Beckham Jr. This is the right comparison, as the Giants have been lacking an electrifying playmaker at wide receiver since trading Beckham. Nabers is the high-profile wide receiver tasked with reviving Daniel Jones’ career, just as Beckham did with Eli Manning.

Football anchor Kay Adams headed to East Rutherford, New Jersey to cover the New York Giants training camp, where she hosted Malik Nabers on her show “Up & Adams.” Nabers told an incredible story about an encounter between Nabers and Odell Beckham Jr.

It’s understandable that Odell Beckham Jr., despite being arguably the most popular athlete in the world, didn’t have the time to reach out to Malik Nabers again, but it’s great to see history come full circle.

While Nabers has amazed Giants training camp with his incredible play, Sunday’s practice was more concerning as he left the field with a foot injury. It’s surprising that Adams didn’t mention the injury, but Giants reporters were optimistic that Nabers will recover.

Everyone is more than excited to see Malik Nabers in the regular season after he made a splash in training camp. Everyone expects Nabers to be the next in the LSU factory of elite wide receivers in the NFL, but we are all waiting for an official number selection from Nabers. He currently wears number 9, which he has no plans to keep, while his LSU number 8 is worn by Daniel Jones and his high school number 13 is worn by Jalin Hyatt. The most popular numbers among Giants fans are 80 and 88, which have been worn by elite playmakers like Jeremy Shockey, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks.
