Target’s skeleton sells for $69.99, compared to Home Depot’s $299 price.

However, there are some fundamental differences between the two, literally.

Most notably, Home Depot’s skeleton is 12 feet tall, while Target’s is only 5.4 feet tall.

If height isn’t an issue for you, Target’s skeleton might be a better option.

Those who opted for the cheaper model have positive reviews, as the product has 19 five-star ratings.

“I loved it,” wrote one shopper on Target’s website.

“Worked perfectly for daily changing garden scenes in October 2023!

“Our little village loved to see what the next day would bring.”

Another customer shared pictures of his skeleton displayed at his home, next to a skeleton dog and fall leaves.

“The description is correct, she is big and beautiful! Arms, legs and feet are all movable. I love her!”

“This is beautiful,” shout shoppers who are crazy about the “must-have” Halloween spirit in The Range

The description of the 63-inch skeleton offers several ways you can use it to add a spooky atmosphere to your home.

“You can hang it in the dark corner of the house to scare your friends,” the description says.

“It is the ideal choice for Halloween parties, haunted houses and horror themes to create a spooky atmosphere.”

SKELLY’S STORY

The 3.66 meter tall skeleton “Skelly” from Home Depot first gained fame on the Internet and has hardly been available for purchase since then.

The $299 decoration is a sought-after item among Halloween fans.

Last year the skeleton sold out over a month before Halloween.

Proud Skelly owners promptly posted their full review of the massive product on The Home Depot website.

“Home Depot’s 12-foot skeleton with different eyes and remote control is an absolute game-changer for Halloween fans like me,” wrote one customer.

“Its stature, customizable eye options, and convenient remote control feature make it a must-have for anyone looking to take their spooky decor to the next level. With its sturdy construction, this skeleton will be a popular centerpiece of my Halloween display for years to come.”

Another buyer said it took years to finally get his own Skelly.

“I love my Skelly! I’ve wanted one for years but they were always sold out,” they wrote.

“I was finally smart enough to put my email address on the list for when they were back in stock. I was notified they were available, ordered them, picked him up and the rest is history. I’m currently waiting on his Santa costume!”
