Jacqueline Fernandez celebrated her 39th birthday on August 11 and was showered with gifts by her alleged boyfriend and ‘cheater’ Sukesh Chandrashekhar on the occasion.
Alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is in a Delhi jail, is said to have gifted Jacqueline Fernandez a yacht for her birthday. According to a report in Economic Times, in a letter to the actress, who celebrated her 39th birthday on Sunday, Sukesh revealed that she had chosen the yacht named ‘Lady Jacqueline’ for 2021. Sukesh’s birthday letter
According to the report, he promised that the yacht would be delivered this month. In his birthday letter, Sukesh called Jacqueline his “little girl” and wrote that he wanted all of Jacqueline’s wishes to come true in the coming year, adding that despite their physical separation, their minds and souls remained connected.
According to the report, in his letter, Sukesh expressed how much he missed Jacqueline and promised to make amends for all the pain he caused and said that he was looking forward to celebrating August 11, 2025 together, Romeo and Juliet style.
Special gifts in honor of Jacqueline
Sukesh also promised a donation of ₹15 Crore for the welfare of landslide victims in Wayanad, Kerala and promised to provide 300 houses for those affected by the disaster. Sukesh mentioned that he has put together a team to work with the Government of Kerala to fulfill these pledges. He concluded his letter by announcing that he will gift 100 iPhone 15 Pro units to their fans as a token of gratitude for their support, with the winners to be selected by his team at YouTube.
Money laundering case
In July, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had summoned Jacqueline for a fresh round of questioning in a money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The Sri Lankan-born Bollywood actor has been questioned by the federal agency in the past in the case, which involves alleged fraud on high-profile individuals, including former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh, to the tune of around ₹200 Crores.
The ED had alleged that Sukesh used these ‘proceeds of crime’ or illegal money to buy gifts for the actor. Jacqueline has always said she is innocent and did not know about his alleged criminal activities.
