Former President Donald Trump went all out in a post on Truth Social, claiming his campaign is “doing well” and is “leading in almost all REAL polls” against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Since she announced her candidacy in recent weeks, Harris has been able to close the gap to Trump. In the crucial swing states, she is on average ahead of the former president.
In addition, Harris has begun holding larger rallies that draw thousands of supporters across the country. Trump and some of his supporters have claimed their large crowds are faked by artificial intelligence.
On Sunday, Trump assured his supporters on Truth Social that he was beating Harris in “real polls” while slamming Harris for failing to “get even a single vote in the primaries.”
He wrote: “I’m doing really well in the presidential race, leading in almost all REAL polls, even though the Democrats replaced their winning candidate in the primaries, sleepy Joe Biden, midway through with a candidate named Kamala Harris, who didn’t get a single vote in the primaries and was the first of 15 Democratic candidates to drop out of the race.”
“I did a great job in 2016 and WON, in 2020 I did even better and got many millions more votes than in 2016, but this year 2024 is my best campaign yet with the most enthusiasm and vigor, etc.,” Trump added.
Trump concluded by saying, “My team is doing a great job despite having to deal with fake news and low self-esteem whistleblowers for eight years. We are going to win a HUGE VICTORY and take our country back from the radical left losers, fascists and communists. We are going to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN very quickly!”
