The best fall decorations (other than Halloween) can be maintained from September through Thanksgiving and provide plenty of fall cheer.

Inspired by the harvest and featuring fall colors like rustic orange, mustard yellow, and forest green, non-spooky fall decor is rarely scary, frightening, or silly. Think less inflatable garden ghosts and more wreaths adorned with fall leaves or an assortment of cute pumpkins arranged on a porch!

You can even bring beautiful fall leaves indoors for the coziest fall vibe. String a garland of leaves and mini pumpkins, or arrange some cute little toadstools on a checkered table runner for a fun table decoration. Our shopping editors found table settings in warm browns and with natural wood accents that will add even more fall cheer to your next dinner party.

Want something more neutral? Opt for chic white pumpkin accents, minimalist candles in black, yellow and orange, or add a touch of texture with a fluffy blanket or throw.

It’s never too early to start decorating for fall. Especially when the fall decorations are as good as the ones we found below – all without ever being spooky, scary or silly.
