New photos give us another look at Samsung’s upcoming iPad competitors

The existence of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and S10 Ultra is currently one of the worst-kept secrets in the mobile world. The two devices were spotted on the 3C certification website and numerous leaks have surfaced.

Now, the latest leak gives us a clear look at the design of the tablets. Android Headlines has published an exclusive look at the two latest additions to Samsung’s lineup.

In a surprising turn of events, the two tablets look very similar to their predecessors. All kidding aside, there are a few notable differences between the two. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a notch at the top, most likely for the front-facing cameras. Samsung could surprise us with something different, but that’s unlikely.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus lacks the notch and appears to have thicker bezels (although that could be an optical illusion based on the positioning in this shot). No official information has been given on screen sizes, but an educated guess is that they will be around the same size as the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

The biggest surprise is the complete lack of a “regular” Galaxy Tab S10. We haven’t seen any mention of it, which suggests that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra are the only two models.

No one knows exactly when the new tablets will launch, but rumors (and precedent) point to a release before the end of the year, possibly even in the fall. With Apple hosting its “It’s Glowtime” event in early September, I wouldn’t expect Samsung to release these tablets until a few weeks later.

One thing is certain, however: given all the information and images available on the internet, it won’t be long before these two tablets are available for purchase.
