Dorit Kemsley wished her estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley a “happy birthday” on Friday despite their ongoing separation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted the sweet but short message on her Instagram stories, sharing a photo of the family of four with her 1.6 million followers.
“Lots of love from me and the dwarves,” she wrote under the picture.
Following the finale of the 13th season of the Bravo reality show, the couple, who tied the knot in a ceremony in New York City in March 2015, announced their separation in a joint statement on May 9.
“We as a couple have been the subject of much speculation about our marriage. We have had our problems over the past few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and have two wonderful children,” the couple said.
“In order to preserve our deep friendship and create a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the mutual and difficult decision to be apart for a period of time and to reassess our relationship while keeping our children as our priority,” they added.
They have two children together: 10-year-old son Jagger Kemsley and 8-year-old daughter Phoenix Kemsley.
When asked why she and the British celebrity manager split up, the 48-year-old reality TV star simply replied to an online fan: “Shit happens.”
“That’s life – try it. One day at a time,” she told the user, who questioned Dorit’s previous claims that she was “stronger than ever” on the final season of “RHOBH.”
The couple’s marriage was a hot topic on the previous episode of “RHOBH,” as the two addressed their relationship following a second robbery at the location in December 2022, in which three men reportedly followed the fashion guru and then aggressively stole $10,000 in cash.
Despite the separation, both parties managed to maintain the good mood.
In June, PK celebrated his sixth month of sobriety on Instagram and sent a message to all the other fathers on the internet for Father’s Day.
“The greatest gift I can give my five children on Father’s Day is to stay sober… I’m grateful and proud to say I’m six months old this weekend… Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there doing their best,” he captioned his Instagram post.
Most recently, the bold actress was spotted with her “RHOBH” co-stars Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne sailing through the Caribbean Sea in style after the cast filmed a celebratory party for the show’s 14th season.
