PHOTOS: Lois Craig Invitational opens the 2024 Crim Festival of Races

FLINT, MI — More than 100 athletes participated in the annual Lois Craig Invitational, the Special Olympics of Crim event, part of the 47th HAP CareSource Crim Festival of Races.

They completed one run after another, starting on Friday, August 23, near Riverbank Park in downtown Flint.

The event began at 6 p.m. on Saginaw Street with the Swartz Creek Marching Band.

Hundreds cheered on the runners during their respective races.

The 10-mile, 5-mile, 5k and Teddy Trot races will all take place on Saturday, August 24th.
