Jey Uso on WWE Bloodline angle: “This is not a story, this is our reality”

Jey Uso recently spoke about The Bloodline’s rise to the top of WWE in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

For nearly four years, Roman Reigns served as the faction’s tribal chief until Solo Sikoa took over the role in the months following WrestleMania 40. Now, with Reigns’ return and a babyface, the group appears ready to start a new chapter.

“We’re here to keep the bloodline and the lineage strong,” Uso said. “I’m very proud of it. This is our family’s life. It’s not a story, it’s our reality.”

Uso admitted that things have been difficult for him recently with his brothers and cousin not being on Raw, and said that his run as a singles star in WWE so far has been “a little scary.”

“It’s a little scary,” Uso said. “You have to sink or swim alone. I’m still getting used to that.”

In a previous interview, Jey mentioned that Jimmy Uso will be returning soon. Jey told SI.com that fans will then see how funny his brother can be.

“And people are going to love Jimmy. He’s the funniest guy I know, so much funnier than me. You’ve seen what he can do on his own before. Wait until you see his awesomeness. He’s next.”

Speaking of Roman Reigns, Jey said he admires his cousin and that there is no one who does it better.

“There is no one better,” Jey Uso said of Reigns. “He makes it look so easy. I admire him. He has perfected this art form.”
