Daytona, with its fantastic beaches, attracts thousands of people every year. Florida has several major airports, such as Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport (MIA). In 2022, MIA received over 50 million passengers.
Given these shocking numbers, operations at Daytona International Airport (DAB) may not seem like much. Yet, the six airlines operating here will offer more than a quarter of a million flights in 2024, according to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium. Let’s take a closer look at the operations of these six aircraft at Daytona Beach.
Airlines with fewer than 50 operations in 2024
Envoy Air – an airline with less than 20 flights
Envoy Air (MQ), which began operations in 2024 with an order for 19 Embraer aircraft, offers only 18 flights to and from Dayton. Envoy Air has a fleet of 169 aircraft – all Embraer E175/170.

Daytona is a small airport that offers several advantages for the round trip flight, one of which is the opportunity to save time. The airport itself writes:
“When you consider the total travel time from home to the final destination, even with a connecting flight, travelers can reach their destination in the same time or faster than with a direct flight. That’s because when flying to or from DAB, there is no long drive (or major traffic congestion) to the airport, parking is just minutes from the terminal, and TSA screening times are typically less than 10 minutes. Flying with DAB saves time and eliminates the stress of driving to the airport.”
