Dua Lipa knows what she likes when it comes to style. Yesterday, the London-born star celebrated her 29th birthday and pulled out a playful, flamenco-inspired outfit for the occasion.

In recent years, Lipa has traveled to Ibiza, Spain to celebrate her big day, and according to her latest Instagram post, she kept the tradition going this year too. “Annual pilgrimage to the island to celebrate my next lap around the sun ❤️‍🔥,” the “Houdini” singer wrote.

On her carousel, Lipa looked like she was having the time of her life. She danced with friends and her current boyfriend Callum Turner, but also enjoyed a slice of cake and popped champagne bottles.

As for her birthday look, the Grammy winner opted for a beachy look in a sleeveless sheer maxi dress with a raised collar and rows of hook-and-eye closures that snaked around the dress, with some of them left open to create cutouts.

Underneath the sheer fabric, Lipa wore a black lace bikini. The top of her dress was embroidered with stripes of red ruffled fabric reminiscent of flamenco fashion – perhaps a nod to the host country of her birthday party.

To complete her look, Lipa gave a nod to her black underwear by slipping into a pair of pointy black heels that she tied around her ankles. As for jewelry, the singer stuck mostly to silver, wearing chunky anklets, a bracelet, chain necklaces, stud earrings and a ring, all in the same metal. She added a slight contrast by wearing a gold watch on top.

Lipa’s return to Ibiza was no surprise, as she had previously expressed her love for the Spanish island. During a performance at the The culture lovers In a podcast in May, the singer said it was one of her favorite vacation spots. “It’s really relaxed, beautiful little beaches, little coves – it’s amazing,” Lipa said. “And then you can go out once a week and go to DC10 (nightclub) and just party. So you just need… it’s about the balance.” Here’s to another year of keeping the party going, Dua.
