The rapper, who was traveling in first class, shared his experience on Instagram Live, saying he was downgraded and asked to sit in a different cabin, leading to a tense conversation between him and the flight crew. In a video shared by AllHipHop, Juvenile’s wife can be heard saying, “We have the seats. I’m his wife, so how can you downgrade him and I can still stay?”
The “Back That Azz Up” hitmaker added: “I’m famous. I’m telling you, there will be consequences. There will be consequences because I’m getting off the plane. I’m getting off the plane. I’m not going to let you disrespect me like that. I’m not going to let you single me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me. So I’m getting off the plane.”
During the livestream, Juvenile addressed his fans, saying, “Man, they try to kick me off the plane, yo,” he said. “They try to get me out of first class… They ain’t putting me in economy, man. Nothing like that ever happened to me in my life.”
In another video shared, the New Orleans native said, “I think I know a thing or two about first class,” while scrolling through first class tickets saved on his mobile device. “Fuck American Airlines, all the money I spent on you bitches. They’re gonna try to put me in economy. Motherfuckers, I’ve never flown economy. Fuck y’all. I feel like I’m being screwed.”
